The best tomato recipe experiences I've ever had were in New Jersey. Beefsteak tomato, fresh off the vine, sliced, with salt. Done.

This looks stunning and tomatoes are almost ready here for picking here. I was wondering if you think it would be a good idea to toss the tomato slices in olive oil, the herbs, salt & pepper in a bowl (for even distribution) prior to assembling them on the crust?
