yes!! kinilaw is the best..
Try putting ginger on kilawin. Add more flavor on the fish.
My tita won't like to eat kinilaw before because it's raw. But she didn't even taste it.When some chance go on probably she's so curious and we always wants kinilaw. And now it's her favourite. Hahah
kinilaw i regularly prepared and consumed in the visayas. you'll find it in karinderias. awesome list!
Salamat Sir Chris💗 i choose escabeche thats delicious 😛

Add small amount of coconut milk in kinilaw. It imparts some creaminess on the dish. Yumm
I approved this, Kinilaw is the best
Another good episode about Filipino fish recipes many more recipes to mention…..
bangus is perhaps one of the most versatile fish:sinigang sa miso (best with binagoongang baboy)paksiw (best eaten in breakfast with scrambled eggs and garlic rice)pesa (same cooking method as tinola but instead of papaya and chili tops you put cabbage, pechay and potato)tinapang bangus (Bangsilog)rellenobangus sardines
kinilaw, yes! and sugpo/prawn! and crab and tahong/mussel! haha
my mom cook the best kinilaw
I went to Cebu one time for the Sinulog fiesta, and there was the kinilaw in coconut and lechon side by side. Lo and behold, I went back for kinilaw more than I went for the lechon! I would include "Sinigang na Salmon or Maya Maya sa Miso" in my top 10. Question: would you agree that a deep fried tuna tail tastes like pork fat?
